CAHSEE

California High School Exit Examination (CAHSEE) is a graduation exam in the state of California in order to improve the academic performance of the high school students in the area of  of reading, writing, and mathematics.The purpose of this exam  is to assess whether students who graduate from high school can demonstrate grade-level competency in the state content standards for reading, writing and mathematics. 

The exam is a pre requisite for students in order to receive a high school diploma.Students generally take this exam in the beginning of their sophmore year.It is mandatory for the students to pass this exam and a total of 8 oppurtunities are provided before the end of their senior year.
