Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking dynamic and qualified individuals to join our esteemed institution as Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Computer Science. The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching, research, and academic leadership in the field of computer science. Candidates with a background in both MTech and Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

1. Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in computer science, including but not limited to programming, algorithms, data structures, artificial intelligence, computer networks, and software engineering.
2. Develop and deliver innovative and engaging curriculum materials that align with the latest trends and developments in the field.
3. Mentor and advise students on academic and career-related matters, including research projects, internships, and job placements.
4. Conduct high-quality research in computer science, leading to publications in reputable journals and conferences.
5. Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across disciplines to promote interdisciplinary research and academic initiatives.
6. Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other administrative duties as assigned.
7. Contribute to the academic community through service activities such as peer review, conference organization, and professional association membership.
8. Stay abreast of advances in computer science education, technology, and pedagogy through continuous professional development.

Qualifications:

1. A Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
2. A Master's degree (MTech or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related discipline.
3. Demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, and academic service.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
5. A record of scholarly publications in reputable journals and conferences, commensurate with the level of appointment.
6. Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in academia.
7. Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level is preferred.
8. Familiarity with industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies in computer science.
