Job Summary: As a Part-Time Tutor, you will assist students in improving their understanding of course material, enhancing their study skills, and preparing for exams. You will provide tutoring in your area(s) of expertise, whether it be mathematics, science, languages, or other subjects, in a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions in-person or online, tailored to the individual needs of each student.
• Help students with homework, assignments, and test preparation.
• Develop customized study plans and learning strategies based on the student’s academic goals.
• Monitor and report on student progress, offering constructive feedback to help them improve.
• Foster a positive and motivating learning environment.
• Stay updated on relevant course content and effective tutoring methods.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a recognized college or university in Montreal, Quebec.
• Strong academic performance in the subject(s) you wish to tutor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an asset, but not required.
• Patient, adaptable, and passionate about helping others achieve academic success.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.
• Reliable internet connection for conducting online tutoring sessions.
