About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Nursing Tutor specializing in Palliative Care to provide high-quality instruction and academic support to nursing students and healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in palliative and end-of-life care and a passion for teaching and mentoring learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures and training sessions on palliative care nursing.

• Teach key topics including:

  • Principles of Palliative Care

  • Pain and Symptom Management

  • End-of-Life Care

  • Communication with Patients and Families

  • Psychosocial and Spiritual Care

  • Ethical and Legal Considerations

  • Grief, Bereavement, and Family Support

  • Interdisciplinary Team-Based Care

• Develop lesson plans, presentations, case studies, and learning materials.

• Conduct assessments, mock tests, and practical discussions.

• Support students in applying evidence-based palliative care practices.

• Provide academic mentoring and guidance.

• Stay updated with current developments, guidelines, and best practices in palliative care.

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution.

• Valid Nursing Council Registration.

• Specialized training or certification in Palliative Care preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of clinical or teaching experience in palliative care, hospice care, oncology nursing, or related fields.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching nursing students, healthcare professionals, or caregivers.

• Familiarity with national and international palliative care standards.

• Experience creating online learning content and delivering virtual classes.

• Research, publication, or training experience in palliative care is an advantage.
